Event Branding, Packaging Design, Marketing Assets

Chandeleur Island Brewing Company has a strong, established identity rooted in Gulf Coast culture. As the brand grew, they needed design support across multiple initiatives — from large-scale events to new product offerings.

The challenge was creating distinct, engaging visuals for each project while maintaining consistency with the overall brand. Each piece needed to feel unique and purposeful, yet still unmistakably Chandeleur.

The Challenge

The approach focused on working within the existing brand while expanding its range.

Rather than reinventing the identity, each project was treated as an extension of the brand — adapting tone, typography, and visual elements to fit the context. Event graphics leaned bold and expressive to capture energy and community, while packaging took a more refined approach to reflect product positioning.

This balance allowed each piece to stand on its own while contributing to a cohesive brand experience.

Strategy & Direction

The Angler’s Reserve label takes a more refined and elevated approach.

Designed as a collaborative spirit, the label balances clean typography, clear hierarchy, and subtle nautical references to create a premium, collectible feel. Material cues, spacing, and tone were carefully considered to differentiate the product from standard beer packaging while keeping it aligned with Chandeleur’s coastal identity.

The final design feels at home both on a retail shelf and within the broader Chandeleur brand system.

Packaging Design

Event branding for Chandeleur focuses on energy, visibility, and community engagement.

For both Chandyfest and Chandygras, I developed custom marks and supporting visuals designed to stand out across posters, merchandise, and large-scale promotions. Each year’s design evolves visually to reflect new themes and experiences, while maintaining recognizable elements tied to the Chandeleur brand.

The result is a flexible system that allows each event to feel fresh and distinct, while still reinforcing a cohesive brand presence.

Event Identity

Impact

This ongoing work has helped expand Chandeleur’s visual presence across events and product offerings, creating assets that are both functional and expressive.

It strengthened my ability to design within an established brand system — adapting to different contexts while maintaining consistency. This work reinforced how flexible design systems can support everything from large-scale events to detailed packaging without losing identity.
